"Turing Complete" is an acousmatic composition that pays homage to the father of computers, Alan Turing. It was he who, in 1951 on the Ferranti Mark, created an oscillator to emit notes; the only way to understand what that giant machine was doing for hours on end. All the musical gestures of this composition are parameters that derive from the stylized drawing I made which depicts him in his best years. Musical instruments, ideally belonging to Turing’s time, combine in unusual timbres, they move in a changing sound space, like characters in a play. The arrangement has an orchestral character to better emphasize the historical perspective, even if from the compositional point of view it is not 
 based on any traditional or conventional form. The composition is entirely made with Csound, samples and reverbs are in the public domain.

This music was composed for the 48 hour film project 2017 for the short movie "Sole" by Andrea Baroni, in one night of october.

I did a short edit to give the sensation of the core of the music.

Exit Music for a Dream

In this pandemic period I decided to upload this composition inspired to a deep connection with Nature and the Dream dimension. What I miss more in this historical period is the free and wild connection with Nature, and I hope that we will all be able to connect with Nature again, freely.
