Wrote some lyrics with a vibe and expressed them to him. Anthony graciously returned with a piece of music that expressed and caught the essence of the words. I overlayed the vocals and then we went for that place where it all seems right.

Australian Crawl (often called Aussie Crawl or The Crawl by fans) were an Australian rock band that where one of the inspirations of my youth. The band was named after the front crawl swimming style also known as the Australian crawl. At a time when we had ACDC, The Angels, Cold Chisel, Billy Thorpe, Men at Work, Midnight Oil, Hunters and Collectors, Matt Finish, Spy vs Spy,  the list goes on, we were spoilt for live gigs in those days.

Reckless, was from there EP Semantics (1983)and  charted on the Australian Singles Charts to reach #1 and consequently some sources list "Reckless" as a #1 single

They were around from 1978 to 1986 and if you want to hear an exceptional album then try the album Sirocco from 1981. A quintessential sound of the Aussie surf scene from those days. The Cassette and the Walkman got a pounding. (Remember them)

What I think Reckless is about: 
A love lost that is returning and they have got one chance to make it right.
Throw down yours guns is dropping the attitude; you have too much to lose.
Scott was not first to the South Pole and died on the way back to base camp
Burke and Wills where Irish/Australian explorers that went east to west and could not make it back. Even though they stopped at a tree and collapsed that was marked as a message to them, but could not understand it. They lay on the ground and died on top of the buried provisions that could have saved them. Message don’t stuff up on the signals to make it right
