Ouroboros Alea demo of a duophonic drone sequence (via the Alea's shift-register)with slow amplitude modulation and waveshaping from the LFOs of the Alea. The sine wave output of the modulation oscillator is pitched into the FM input of the carrier oscillator halfway through the recording.
No processing except for Reverb via Eventide Space.

Ouroboros Alea Demo : Duophonic Drone Sequence with waveshaping & FM

As in the title.
Live impro (mono synth) on my new hardware machine: 4 D-Two's, here with 4 sec delay, reduced to stereo. Not for headphones actually.
While I was not trying to do that, I came very close to what I was playing in '78-79 with an electrified violin, two 4-Trk tape recorders and four speakers. Time does fly, but some things stay with you.

Fifth track from my weekly "Is What It Is" series on Youtube, where I attempt to write, record and perform an entire track in a single day. I brought some old friends out to play this week, in the shape of the MFB 503 and the Alesis HR16 drum machines. First run on a TD3 too which was confusing, but super fun - enjoy! CHAMP x

SHAKUHACHI MADNESS

New track, and oh hecking boy, was this something to work on.
Lots of new techniques and ideas were sprung from the creation of this.
