Mathias Modica’s "Sonic Rohstoff" is the new album on Kryptox Music. 

Sonic Rohstoff  is a journey through abstract downtempo vibes, lo-fi jazz and futuristic electronica. This is Modica’s first album under his own name, following three albums under his monikers Kapote and Munk. All instruments are performed by Modica himself, embellished by guest musicians from the new Berlin Jazz scene.

TLM025 kicks off with Erik Escobar and his cover version of Memories by Caruso. Erik is from Campinas in Brazil and very well respected and talented musician. Taking the track into a completely different direction to the original this cover version is written for the dancefloor. Onto the AA side and Cormac Fulton (one half of Caruso) gives us a very deep track called Perplexed, a very moody affair with Matt Cox and Steve Conry on production duties. Next up is Time Travel from Detroit's Lorenzo Dewberry, another deep journey taking influences from the cities sound for another dancefloor piece. Lastly GeeW finishes off the EP with his track MarshMellow, a very nice laid back deep house track from the UK based multi-instrumentalist. Four artists to watch over the coming years.

I proudly present you my debut album.
Neu Fahrland was born in the year 2019. The basic idea behind Neu Fahrland was finally to made a album after some years of making music and to go new paths. As the name already says. Neu Fahrland is a place in Brandenburg where I was in rehab. A few months after my mother passed away. In this time I produced some tracks and thought I have an album together. After several listens I realized that it will not be my debut album. The tracks wasnt good enough and also my mixdown. So some time passed and in 2020/2021 I sat down again to produce. About the time when my label was born. I first thought it would be a digital release but then i decided to go for a cassette release even new paths. Its my first own physical release.
The photo of me is from my childhood days at my grandmas home.
I hope you dig my Album as i do.

MIMS is delighted to premiere "Green Leaves" by Milan-based producer, DayKoda, featuring the rhymes of  Block Mameli. 

"Green Leaves" is the first new track extracted from DayKoda's second full-length album 'PHYSIS', a meticulous beat-work that unravels through the jungle, steady and rhythmic with its shred light drums and jaunty samples.

'PHYSIS' is due to drop on March 11 on Beat Machine Records, and will also feature "My Abstract Monkey", a collaboration with our recent crucial material pick, Robohands, that came out later year. Plus a brand new remix by Ishmael Ensemble. 

Born in Brescia and now based in Milan, under his moniker DayKoda, Andrea Gamba has been gradually building a reputation for his blend of electronic and experimental slow-mo beat, inspired by Bonobo, Shigeto, Shlohmo and Teebs.
