This is a song idea I have been working on today. 
It's only  a snippet, not a full song.
The drums are from a program that I had to painstakingly edit and still couldn't get it the way I wanted.... BUT, it's just an working song so far.
Also, no bass or lyrics.
Been kicking around a new band idea and this would be what the band sounds like.

Sometimes you hear or see something in everyday life and think, "This would be a good idea for a song."

I heard a guy at work talking about his younger wilder days. His story went on to tell that he was "tuned up on whiskey and up to no good,"  and that it was late into the evening or early in the morning depending on how you look at it. The point was that it was way past midnight, and as he put it, "Son, nothing good happens after midnight."

I loved the way that sounded and here's my attempt at catching the moment.

First completed song from a blues project I've been slowly working on.
I've got almost enough unfinished material to have a full CD at this point.
If all goes well, I'm eventually going to record them in a more professional manner.
But I'm going to need some better PC gear :)

This song is one of those songs that just fell into my lap. A bit moody, but easy to write. Lots of harmony and melody and an ending reminiscent of Shawn Colvin '95ish.

A collection of songs that come in all shapes and sizes. 

There's a little bit of metal and some blues thrown in there now and again, also some acoustic folk tunes because why not?
