A song made solely by Heather Ziegler (Yie Yie) for the 24 Hour Song Challenge of March 2012. 

This song is inspired by summer nights and the stars that line the hillsides of the area in which I live. My new music is created from "moments" in life- ones that are calm and introspective. I imagine this moment taking place in a backyard with lush green grass. Take your shoes off and stand in the middle of the yard and look up at the stars appearing in the sky that is slowly turning to night. I hope you enjoy.

Understand Mirrors

Today marks my one year anniversary of making my own music. A year ago today I entered my first song into the 24 Hour Song Challenge on Facebook and began a new hobby and a new way of exploring my own creativity.

This is a lovely song Marc wrote and I listened to his work and became so inspired I had to do some vocals for it. I worked on the vocals late in the night by myself and I sent them to him that same night.
