Well, let’s see…. Glad you dropped by because you get to listen to some electric slide with some vocal harmonies. The lyrics come from a first draft of another song I recently wrote. They were ideas I had about war and peace, and the beliefs behind them. So now there are two different songs each unique in their own way. I remember way back when, going to a cemetery with my grandma and our family, to visit my grandfather’s grave. I was 10 and had my younger brother on my shoulders as him and I walked around reading the names on the gravestones out loud, and laughing, while making up our own funnier names using theirs… We were having a grand old time… My dad walked across the cemetery to get us. He was angry. He marched us over to this dank stone church, and told us to sit in there and not make a peep. When my grandma died, my parents planted a memorial dogwood tree in our yard. My other grandmother whispered to me, when I was still a kid… please don’t let them plant a tree for me when I die. I liked her. She told it as it is. No bullshit. Oh, that dogwood died shortly after it was planted. Well I got side-tracked from what I really wanted to say. Such is life. Hope you like the song, Mark

I continue to create music with new structures, turning my back on so-called popular music. You're more likely to be turned away by your listeners than to be appreciated.
However, humans have a gene that favors curiosity, so-called adventure, and when this gene is activated, they leave their comfort zone and want to find out what lies ahead.
The meaning of the Japanese word "Amekaze-syokudo" is that the owner of a shop for children earns money by running a bar behind the shop where you can drink alcohol from the morning. It's a selfish business. I use this phrase as a warning, vowing to "take music seriously."
