Dear friends, the ordinary families in Gaza are suffering from hell! A while ago you could see a single, long line of families seeking to return to their homes. Heartbreaking! These innocent people are suffering from terrorist organisations and warmongers. WHY?
AND NOW, the 19:th of March 2025, they cannot go to their home anymore! Lots and lots of bombs have hit them! It is so strange that they can't come to an agreement!
It is the 21:th of may 2025 now, and the situation becomes more and more terrible. Innocent people are the victims!!
Today, the 25:th of June the situation is worse. Innocent folks are starving, and they get killed while waiting for food. Innocent civilians must be treated with kindness! Then they will love the people in power.

You can see them walking - they walk to their home
long time has passed - since they saw their home
the distance is soo far
they walk there with all the things that they have
and with all their kids

The world has watched in amazement as the long, 
long line of folks heading to their home
their rusty cars are loaded
with kitchen equipment and mattresses too
and with kids on the roof

But what will meet them - their home is not there
where has it gone? There is only ruins
and their gardens are damaged
they cannot grow their food anymore
and kids have to starve

Surf Season is open

       This was written in collaboration with Katarina Jovchevska last year. Kate Jo wrote and performed the music and I wrote the lyrics, added some guitars, sang, and produced the video. I thought Kate Jo did an awesome job with the music and I tried my best to sing it, not very well I'm afraid. The story is about a whale calling for her mate across the vast ocean but then she turns out to be a mermaid instead. A diver is lured to join her in the ocean by her calls & whispers. The story really goes nowhere but I wanted to write something about whales & mermaids. I had tremendous fun recording it and it was great putting the video together as well!

I felt like this one needed the extra time to unfold and develop in the direction it wanted to go, could be my longest solo piece yet! My songwriting process has moved almost entirely to Ableton Live and I'm find it to be such an inspiring workflow. This is yet another recent track where I'm having fun weaving in the guitar.
