It is my great pleasure to welcome and present to you on Singularity radio show this month an incredible music producer and dj, Basil O'Glue. He prepared a stellar guest mix for you which will be aired tomorrow on I Streem Radio.

I'm sure he doesn't need any introduction to some of you, but the ones who haven't heard this name, keep reading.

Haris Vasiloglou better known as the man behind the name “Basil O’Glue” is producer, dj, radio host and label owner of Saturate Audio and Bagruhm. He is considered without any doubts to be the Greek leader of the dark underground progressive sound.

Born and raised in the cultural city of Athens and now based in Northern Greece away from the cosmopolitan environment and the big city lights, Basil O’Glue crafts his unforgettable dark and mysterious progressive trance journeys. He was exposed from his very early years on indie dance bands as The Prodigy & The Chemical Brothers. He felt very soon the urge to produce his own electronic dance music with some amateur software.

From those years of experimentation to 2014 Basil O Glue as a result of his devotion, hard work and endless days and sleepless nights established himself as one of the most influential trance producer of his generation.He manage track after track to build a global loyal following with releases on well known labels like Coldharbour recordings, Afterglow records, Black Hole recordings, Armada Music to name just a few.

His music is supported by well known djs like Markus Schulz who has included on his excellent compilations many Basil O’Glue tracks, Armin van Buuren with plays in his radio show ASOT, Ferry Corsten, Max Graham, John 00 Flemming and many more.

Because of his productions, the popular demand for him grow and has helped him considerably to get bookings in well known events like the Luminosity Beach Festival in The Netherlands and in countries like Canada, Spain-Ibiza, UK, USA, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Greece of course his podcast “Momentum” is followed by thousands of listeners who enjoy his mixing skills and eclectic taste in trance music that is evident in every show.
Basil O'Glue is definitely not the dj who will play the obvious big banging tunes. Instead he stays faithful on being an ambassador of the dark trippy progreesive trance-techno sound.

It’s no surprise Skyline felt like the perfect fit as a brand partner for Balance Croatia. With the countdown underway to our sold-out debut, the timing was right to shine a light on the man behind the movement — and invite him to showcase his musical chops alongside longtime partner-in-sound and fellow Skyline resident, Andy Newland.

What they delivered is a four-hour excursion packed with progressive heat and nostalgic undertones. Featuring tracks from Nicolas Rada, Ezequiel Arias, Gai Barone and more, it’s a delicious taste of what’s to come this August.

Семён Холодков — UNWA — талант из Татарстана, специализирующийся на стилях Progressive House, Melodic Techno, Deep House и Organic House. Семён пишет музыку (также и под другими творческими именами — SiChill и Simon Ice) и ведёт регулярную серию диджейских миксов «UNWA Selected», где обращает внимание на общемировые тенденции в разных клубных жанрах.

Кстати, международную деятельность Семён ведёт и через свой лейбл Inspired Virtu, основанный в 2022-м году и собирающий вокруг себя команду музыкантов из разных стран.

Один из вариантов перевода названия — «Вдохновлённый виртуоз». Профессионал, увлечённый искусством, находится в творческом потоке, где соединяются любопытство, поиск нового и глубокое знание традиций. Dialectics (n.) - the art of investigating or discussing the truth of opinions. The discourse between two people holding opposing viewpoints view but trying to establish a common truth through reasoned discussion.

Born out of the renowned, best-selling Yin and Yang label concept, USA and Spain create a musical discourse through Tripp Baronner and GuyRo. Presenting "Dialectics", a new monthly show airs on Proton Radio showcasing the finest underground music talent in two contrasting but inextricably linked hours.

Part 1 sees Yin thematically represented while Yang is juxtaposed through Part 2. Intimately interconnected while fluid by design, resident hosts alternate and interchange with guest artists to create a dynamic dialectical discourse, a thesis for high-calibre music to reign supreme across two symbiotic concepts and distilled into two interrelated hours full of technique, craft and passion.

Dialectics 002 with Basil O'Glue - Yang Edition

Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 4,000+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity. 

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.
