Alongside the title track, this EP also showcases "Cosmos" and "Mystic Forest." Ben made his debut on the label a year ago on the "We Are The Future" compilation, and he has also contributed to our sublabel, Future Avenue, with his track "Forest Of The Cuckoo," recently featured on the renowned Buddha Bar compilation CD.

Through "Coral Castle", Croatian duo, Pacco & Rudy B, oversaw a hugely memorable progressive house offering that was a highlight of the "Summer Particles 2010" compilation. Going on to see a raft of remixes across both Particles and Balkan Connection from Kobana & Yane3dots, Steve Haines and Nicholas Van Orton, Yin : Yang now takes on the remix mantle.

Founded in June 2014, Hungarian pairing, 2Dots, are relative newcomers to the world of commercial production. Well-respected DJs across their homeland, their Mosonmagyaróvár hometown on the northwestern tip, has provided the duo a headquarters from which to entertain a growing fan base. A single 2015 remix of Adrian Sarmon's "Beating Sea" for Color House Records is now extended with a new interpretation of Pacco & Rudy B's classic track. Gently opening proceedings with a clicking kick drum, a running bass line soon makes an appearance to augment the rhythmic underpinning. As the track progresses, echoes of iconic melodic lines from the original shimmer across the upper frequency range. A subtle shift in the bass line key from the mid-point onwards provides dynamic interest in a stripped back offering full of skill and intensity.

Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 2,000+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity. 

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.
