At last, our very own Felix Raphael is back with yet another hauntingly beautiful release. ‘Port Horizon’ sonically ties back to his debut album released in late spring of this year. True to our philosophy however, the tracks on this EP bring out the YION co-founder’s most organic side. The layers upon layers of strings and breathy vocals of ‘Colour’ and the twangy synths and choral harmonies of ‘Port Horizon’ turn our thoughts into trance and our skin into goosebumps. What else can we say except to recommend you try it yourself?

The two took the track to an entirely new sonic sphere. Here it shines as an electronica-infused dance floor anthem with melancholic overtones. It's driving, brooding and outright powerful. We hope you have as much fun with this one as we do.

Can we offer you some downright dazzling downtempo on this fine day? Lui Mafuta and Kunterweiß present their YION debut with ‘Wrong’. Hints of world music, trip hop, organic house and dub make this track as intriguing as it is pleasing to the ear. Added to the package is a remix by mUnO that shift the tone towards something rawer and more feral, adding even more facets to this already iridescent release. We think you’re gonna have a lot of fun with this one.

One more ride on the merry-go-round: Here's another remix of Yannek Maunz and Johanson's 'Vertigo' - this time by young talent Fabian Sprungk who makes his third contribution to the label with his epic and majestic take on the original, that pushes it to the very edge of the organic house sound. Great stuff.

New sounds, fresh of the digital press: Sanoi and Jake Rattler present their YION debut with ‘The Flubbenator’ – a two track EP with plenty of pizzazz. Hi-hat-heavy and driving percussion sets the tone on both tracks here. While the title track fully orients itself towards the dancefloor, the second half of the EP, ‘Jonty’s Theme’ likes to play a little bit more with contrast, and adds just a dash of moody strings and melodramatic vibes. Altogether, a worthy soundtrack for the dawn of spring.

This take focuses on the percussive structure of the original and adds new layers of hard hitting and crisp drums. A very dancefloor-oriented, yet emotionally powerful track.

YION proudly presents 'Silence', the ironically titled collaboration between producer and label co-founder Georg Arnim and the singer-songwriter VRAE. This emotional rollercoaster of a song will captivate you, be it through its astounding and unpredictable percussion or through the powerful voice of VRAE, two elements that are perfectly intertwined in an exiting spiral of spatially mixed sonic excellence.
