架空の都市「レトロフエゴ公国」で開かれる博覧会を舞台に、
怪盗になったYMCKと、2ndアルバム「ファミリーレーシング」にも登場した宿敵「スウィンガーズ」が繰り広げる怪盗劇が、まるでミュージカルのように曲順に沿って進んで行く。

2/5(日)には代官山UNITでリリース記念ワンマンライブ「FAMILY SWING SHOW ～エメラルドのタクトを盗め～」を開催！

The 8-bit superstar, YMCK will release a Jazz themed full album on January 18th 2017. Be excited for the limited edition CD that will include a special board game and an album launch party in February at Unit in Daikanyama, Tokyo!

Going back to their basics, YMCK will release a Jazz themed full album “FAMILY SWING” on January 18th 2017!

A story set at an exposition in a fictional city “Principality of Retrojuego”, YMCK the phantom thieves will battle against　their fated rival “The swingers”. The whole album will go on dramatically like a musical.

Additionally, the limited edition CD will include a special board game “FAMILY TREASURE” which is the first remake of a popular board game “Deep Sea Adventure” by Oink Games (It swept awards both domestic and international including a game market grand prize).

On Sunday, February 5th, an album launch party “FAMILY SWING SHOW-Steal the emerald tact” will take place at Unit in Daikanyama, Tokyo. YMCK has been known for their entertaining live show filled with surprises. At an album launch party, they will perform as a band set for the very first time in their career.

After 2 years from the last album, the world of “8-bit meets JAZZ=YMCK” has evolved for every aspects and directions with their devotion and unlimited talent.

YMCK will release their special edition EP on April 14th at the venue of their album launch party!!

YMCK’s album release party will be held on April 14th at CreAto in Ebisu, Tokyo!

As YMCK’s full album launch party from last year is still fresh in our mind, their talked-about chiptune entertainment live show will come back!

This time, the theme of the show will be “The Universe”! YMCK will play remixes of their original and collaboration tacks in YMCK’s 8bit Universe!

The guest artists are Robotprins (from Sweden), MC8bit (secret guest rapper) and Mega Ran (from Philadelphia, USA).

Additionally, the limited EP “Magical Galaxy Tour EP” will be sold at the venue! It will be available to download online as well.

The most prominent feature of the band is the 8bit sound that reminds people old game consoles, which attracts the enthusiastic support from wide range of generations.
The 1st album "Family music" released in 2004 made a big hit and made their popularity unassailable.
Their unique style of live performances using 8bit pixel animation is also highly acclaimed. Their activities are not limited in Japan but also made successes in performing at international music festivals around the world: in Sweden, Netherlands, New York, Washington DC, Thailand, Korea and Taiwan, and CDs are released in United States, Thailand, and South Korea.
Besides those things above, YMCK does a wide range of activities, such as remix works, video game sound tracks, DJ performances, development of 8bit sound plug-in VSTi software "Magical 8bit Plug" and "YMCK Player" for iPhone etc.
