Carl Cox 45 min Boiler Room Ibiza Villa Takeovers DJ Set

Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. 

The idea to remix 'Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a New Age Of Love. We're ready."

'Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance. 

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

Performing at Tanglewood has always been a dream, so this set holds a special place for me as I channeled classic afternoon Australian dancefloor steeze, whilst doing my best to honor the beautiful legacy of the late Steph Born, who blessed our community with this festival.

I’m beyond grateful to have spent this New Years with most of the people I love. During the beautiful tributes for Steph by her family on the 31st evening, I was reminded to honor, enrich, and nurture the special connections I'm lucky to share with so many, something I will make my number 1 priority in 2025.

Back to the music… expect mostly Digital Structures vibes—old, new, unreleased—with dnb, ukg and halftime thrown in for a laugh. Safe to say I had a fuckin ball throwin' down behind the wheels.

This Soundcast impresses. A true journey through many different styles of bush techno, from the deep and elated, to the hefty heartstoppers that just make you want to throw down in some dust. I recorded this mix on a rainy Saturday afternoon on two CDJ2000’s and a Xone 92. I wanted to showcase the best of the music I wrote while locked in my Melbourne studio in 2020. That music ranged from moody deep house to trippy minimal to UK Garage so I wanted to make a journey through all the different sounds that kept me positive in 2020. The majority of the tracks are mine and the majority of those are unreleased. The rest of the mix is made up of tracks from Suki, BADEO, SY, Michael James, IO Mulen, Luca Donzelli, Diego Krause, Reyam, Casey Spillman, Synkro, Instinct and El-B I’ve been vibing lately, both old and new.
