Woke up late, same bed I slept in,
Alarm quit early, guess it gave in.
Mirror say “bro, you look dead.”
I nod back once, yeah, message read.

Bank app load got me stressin,
Spin that wheel like a game show question.
Bills on the counter, color-coded red,
I flip ‘em face down, problem dead.

Dog bark loud, mom start yellin,
I yell “yeah” back, kinda lyin.
Cereal dust at the end of the bag,
I shake it hard like “don’t do that.”

Radio on, kitchen still lit,
Same song play but I don’t skip.
DJ talk like he been here,
Say “hang tight, kid,” loud and clear.

Life ain’t big, life ain’t small,
Just kinda there, that’s all.
If it fall apart, I let it fall,
Turn it up till the speakers stall.

Drive past the same old grocery store,

Saturday night, not a thing,

It just play… like it paid to ignore.

Middle lane, I’m okay,
Same damn night, different day.
If this it, I’ll probably stay,
Tomorrow look the same damn way.
