“Fiesta y Tambores” es una explosión de ritmo, color y vida.
Un viaje urbano-latino que mezcla la energía de los tambores afrocaribeños con el pulso moderno de la ciudad.
Cada tema es una invitación a soltar el miedo, a bailar bajo las luces, a sentir la libertad que nace cuando el cuerpo y el alma se encuentran con el compás del tambor.

Es el sonido del barrio que despierta, del carnaval que nunca duerme, del amor que vibra entre calles llenas de música y ferias infinitas.
En cada acorde se siente el fuego de la alegría, la nostalgia del tambor antiguo y la promesa de un nuevo amanecer lleno de ritmo y unión.

While on the endless search for interesting things to sample I came across this great little tune, rearranged it a bit,  and added lots of fun stuff.

South African singer, born 23. August 1942 and raised in Soweto. 

Already as a teenager she toured as part of the King Kong musical ensemble but left for the USA in the sixties due to the political environment back home, teaming up with Harry Belafonte and Cannonball Adderley. Her voice can also be heard on the soundtrack of the successful TV series "Roots". 

Married to Caiphus Semenya, she returned to South Africa after 26 years of self-imposed exile.
