‘Jazbaat’ is a new dystopian world of sonics forged by Help, swaying between lushful
synths and hard-hitting future bass drops as he holds the door open for us to enter his
world with his electrifying debut. The project features prominent emcees and artists from
the Indian underground scene with heavyweights like Satyum, Karun & Udbhav who are
⅔ of the Delhi outfit Teesri Duniya, the EP also features Bombay’s Quest and ConVith
from Chandigarh. Ranging from subjects such as Fame, Heartbreak, Soul-Searching
and Redemption the EP creates a universe of its own with each artist laying his
narrative on out-of-this-world instrumentals.

The project starts with Naseeb an ambitious ode penned by Mohali’s Satyum which
speaks about his dreams and arduous lifestyle in his city over a rather scintillating beat
which sets the tone for the EP Behka the second track finds the Bombay based
Rapper Quest singing a heartbroken hymn as he intoxicates himself with memories of
his long lost love. Sach by ConVith is a gritty Punjabi banger which speaks about
dreams and redemption over a flaring instrumental. Tere Sang makes the project drift
apart taking us into a reverie of intimacy and bafflement, He breaks the spell on the
following track Kalaa a rather sobering reality being hit after a brief period of
intoxication, it swivels us back and forth till we reach the closing chapter of the project
Jau featuring Karun which starts with a spoken poetry which evolves into a
self-searching journey rapping about varied topics with the concluding question of ‘Kaha
kaha jau? (where else shall I go?) after a journey of brief exploration.
