Meditasjon

A melody about longing for a place to return to, or just plain homesickness. Whether it is a house, a person, or somewhere in nature, it may be a harbour you have already visited, or a location still unkown to you, external or internal. I've had this ready for more than a year now, finally got myself to record it. A bit more vocal-friendly than my other works. Hope you like it, more to come soon ...

Some disharmony and tension, loose rhythm. Not sure if this track is made to agitate or release stress. Maybe both.

Misforstått

Exploring some harmonies, different landscapes, some repetition. May be a bit off putting with the steady beat, but I kind of like how it just keeps on going. Listen and see if it takes you somewhere, and if you can feel the climax.

Dråpar

A kite dancing in the wind meets a dragon that rises from the depths of the earth, and together they conquer the air. ('Drake' can mean both 'kite' and 'dragon' in norwegian).

Sommarfugl

Pianist, Composer, Teacher. I have an open-minded view on music, not necessarily aiming for perfection, but always playing how and what I feel. For the time being I play on a simple acoustic piano, and record via phone mic. Stay tuned for updates in both music and technology.
