My name is Ben Biddick, the Host of the Get Up Nation Podcast and Co-Author of Get Up: The Art of Perseverance with former Major League Baseball player and CEO of Lurong Living, Adam Greenberg. Recently I had the privilege of speaking with James “Murr” Murray from TruTV’s “Impractical Jokers” where Murr, and his lifelong friends Joe, Q, and Sal compete to embarrass each other with a series of dares in public. If they refuse the dare, they pay the consequence that their friends dream up, knowing each others’ deepest fears and discomforts. After enduring some of the most horrendous punishments his friends can think of, embarrassing himself intentionally for the enjoyment of his friends and fans, I’m honored to have the opportunity to learn some of his insights into the power laughter can have in developing resilience, especially during the holidays.
