For a premiere at MUTEK festival, Montréal based electronic music producer Djima delivers a remarkable live performance, inspired by the Japanese concept of « wabi sabi », the art and beauty of imperfection. Always seeking to build his multi-identity through music and creating a language that transcends borders and cultures, Djima’s artistic identity and sources of inspiration mix musical styles of deep house, orchestral ambient, minimal rhythms, dub techno and West African sounds. 

In August 2020, he released his first EP entitled 'Disparate' on Montréal's Kizi Garden Records (@kizigarden), as well as the track 'Haunting' on the label's latest VA compilation 'L'ouverture d'esprit n'est pas une fracture du crâne'
