Ukrainian producer and DJ Svarog - named after the slavic god of fire, forging and creation - brings us an exquisitely atmospheric set. Just as temperatures start to drop here in Europe, this one hour musical journey surrounds you with deep mystical haze and fog. It envelops your senses and allows you to focus on the sounds, while simultaneously grounding you back into nature. 

Svarog is deeply inspired by monumental elements, from mountains to architectures. His underground techno sounds are imbued with saturated timbres, ambients shades and textured landscapes. Glasgow based Fernie has been immersing himself in the local scene since 2002 taking influences from the city's many techno stalwarts holding residences at a number of the areas key venues allowing him to hone his style over the years.

He provides both deep and driving hypnotic sets full of energy and soaring pads. This same ethos is relayed through his own productions which have seen release across a wide selection of respected labels.

Most recently he continues to develop his own Space Textures imprint facilitating the release of some of the finest atmospheric techno on offer. He also works with the influential Norway based Monument group to deliver podcasts and streams from artists around the globe.

In this session for Temple.Prayer, Fernie delivers a near 2 hour mix of both vinyl and digital selections with a number of unreleased productions and picks from the vaults providing a meandering journey into his mind.

Dopastat Radio 004: Darkastat Fall 20 Mix

One last mix to end the year. When Svreca sent me this set, he could not have known what it would mean to me. I have spent so much time looking back lately, reliving old discussions and re-imagining moments passed, often lamenting how much was lost along the way. In just under three hours this mix communicates the flow of years. An archived recording from a special memory, it reminds me that the passage of time is beautiful even in what it fades away. Listening to it, I become lost completely, as though I am everywhere at once.

Thank you to everyone who listened this year, who sent warm messages and left comments, who supported us and kept us feeling connected. Thank you to the artists who continue to give their time and trust to the podcast and label, and keep us moving forward.
