In terms of capturing a Vangelis sound, I'm really happy with this one. Again as a fan of this sound it was a joy to make, and its nice to listen to these textures, and feel the mood. Very definitely "Blade Runner" inspired, again following a jazzy vibe like "Blade Runner" blues.
The Syd Mead artwork also evokes that rich textured world that Ridley Scott so successfully created.

The Sliders gang went record-hopping in an alternate dimension and brought back this artifact, a concert by a Vangelis-led band touring the Blade Runner film.

EDIT: I keep adding to the length. What started out as less than a 90 minute mix is now up to nearly 2 hours long.  Latest upload: 12/14

There's some overlap here; the last several songs (at the halfway mark actually) are also on the first "concert" upload. However, I've tried to improve the mixing; I also got rid of that last song, which I didn't think really worked. I intend to replace that first upload with a new one, which I'll title "Part 1," after I've cleaned up the mix a bit on that one too. None of these songs are mine, although I have remixed many of them ; I thought a "concert" mix might be a nice spin on the traditional mix.
