אֱלֹהִים לֹא נְטָשַׁנִי וּלְעוֹלָם לֹא יִנְטֹשׁ
אֵין סָפֵק שֶׁחָטָאתִי וְרַע עָשִׂיתִי
לְלֹא סָפֵק הִטְעִיתִי עַצְמִי בִּדְרָכַי
אַךְ הוֹצִיאֵנִי הָאֵל מִפִּתְחֵי הַשְּׁאוֹל
הַכֵּיצַד לֹא אֶהְיֶה חָבוּל? אַךְ אֱלֹהִים יְרַפְּאֵנִי מִכָּל פְּצָעַי, יַבְרִיא אֶת פִּצְעֵי הַנֶּפֶשׁ וְאֶת פִּצְעֵי הַגּוּף,  יַחֲבֹשׁ אֶת כְּוִיּוֹתַי.
בּוֹאוּ כֻּלָּם וּבְיַחַד עִמִּי, הָבָה נְהַלֵּל יָהּ וּנְשַׁבֵּחַ אֶת הַנִּסָּיוֹן הַקָּשֶׁה שֶׁנִּיסָנִי הָאֵל, נִסָּיוֹן שֶׁהֶעֱלַנִי וֶהֱקִימַנִי כָּךְ שֶׁאוֹכֵל לְסַפֵּר בִּשְׁבָחָיו וּלְהוֹדִיעַ חֲסָדָיו הָרַבִּים לְמַעֲנִי.
