“JUS HAV FUN VOL 2” REMIX CONTEST (1ST PLACE)

My home studio is located near a small forest. One day, I opened a window that I usually keep closed. As I spent time by the open window, the gentle autumn breeze flowed in, accompanied by the rustling of trees and the chirping of birds. Inspired by these sounds, I felt an irresistible urge to play the piano. When the beautiful sounds of nature blended with the notes from my piano, I felt a profound sense of happiness.
For a while, I was completely absorbed in the impromptu piano performance and the sounds from outside. Later, a strong desire arose within me to share this feeling of happiness with someone. So, I pressed the record button on my microphone and camera, capturing the sounds and scenes of this otherwise ordinary day.

A recent hike along the trails in Roanoke, Virginia at Happy Hollow Gardens. It was a dry, fall day and the trails were rocky, dusty, leafy, and crunchy. Hopefully this captures the sounds from that short hike.

Recorded in our home during a typical work‑day morning, this soundscape follows the making of a simple breakfast for two: sunny‑side‑up eggs, pan‑fried potatoes, and strips of bacon seasoned only with salt. You’ll hear the gentle sizzle of the skillet, a spoon stirring instant milk tea, and the soft rustle of yogurt lids—all against the stillness of early hours.

These small, familiar sounds help us gather our thoughts before the rush of the day. Close your eyes and listen for the hidden rhythms in an ordinary morning.
