Delving deep into Sydney's underground soundscapes for the last 5 years, Marley Sherman has quickly gained momentum among punters and promoters alike for his tasteful selections and versatility from warm up to closing. Marley’s adaptability towards a Sydney scene blossoming with countless genres has seen him play at all of its mainstay events, including sets at S.A.S.H, Mantra Collective and New Years Festival, Lost Paradise. 

Having such a prolific role throughout the Sydney nightlife scene has scene Sherman warm up for some of the industries biggest names, which include the likes of Daniel Bell, Djebali, Dana Ruh, Delano Smith, Ferro, Malin Genie, Sonja Moonear and most recently, Silat Beksi.

Co-Founder and head of A&R for Sydney party connoisseurs and record label Conspiracy, Nate has firmly established his position as one of the countries finest up and coming talents. His one of a kind sound has seen his releases sitting comfortably in the Beatport House and Minimal Top Ten charts on multiple occasions, with his most recent productions attracting support from some of Europes finest in the underground including IULY.B, The Willers Brothers, Stephan Bazbaz, Reda Dare, DJOKO, Steve Lawler and Toman to name a few. 
As a frequent at many of Sydney’s notorious late night haunts like S.A.S.H, Nights Like This, SlyFox and Club 77, plus sets at Lost Paradise, Mountain Sounds, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and the upcoming Gypsylands Festival in Bali, Nate has built a momentum that shows no signs of slowing.

A rainforest sanctuary. A phenomenon neglected from every atlas.

Colours, shapes, creatures native to the sunburnt bushlands, fill the labyrinth. A truly distinctive display of vibrance. The passageway walls are penetrated by beams of light that set aglow greens and golds, purples and blue hues. Darkness occupies the leafy edge and ominous corners, shrouding the maze in thrill.

The journey takes many forms. The destination unbeknownst to those within the labyrinth, but the destination remains unimportant.

⇸ About 'Labyrinth, Lost In Techno 02' ⇷

Bassic Records’ second instalment of ‘Labyrinth, Lost In Techno’ showcases the definitive and colourful styles of Australian electronic dance music, ever growing in popularity. Influenced heavily by nature and the unique dance events that take place in the great outdoors, the sound takes form as progressive and psychedelic jaunts of techno and house, driven by emotive storytelling.

The 14 track compilation comprises of label stalwarts Doppel, Gabriel Moraes, Ark-E-Tech, Rainbird, TAYA, EEEMUS, John Baptiste, Käse Kochen, Monotreme, Victor Y, and collaborators Nanoplex (UK), Waveback (IT), Mud (IT/DE), Spintribe (RU), Diamandy (SE), Sandokan (IL), Charles Oliver, Biomass, Mecca, Samwise and Yokobus.

Sitting at an average of 125bpm, the compilation reaches a beefy 127 with ‘Spurge’ by Gabriel Moraes and is rounded off with the deep intricate closer, Mud’s ‘Mistakes’ at a neat 113bpm. Exploring an array of unique sub genres, some tracks can be identified as progressive techno, progressive house, psytech, deep techno, others are difficult to categorise into anything.

We call it ‘bush techno’.

Born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He has become the latest impact of the electronic underground scene in his country.

His musical career begins in 2016 when he connects with the genre of House, characterized for maintaining a sophisticated line of minimalistic & deep sounds perfectly balanced with a mixture of groovy beats that gets you addicted.

Despite his young age and short musical career, he has already shared decks with well-known artists, as well as numerous participations on the most important festivals of his region.

He is working on his new project called "Aesthetic Grooves" which is a promoting agency and Record label that has been characterized for making minimalistic and sophisticated events with re-named artists of the region.

Saybe is also working on his first EP, which is expected to be released soon and continue to grow in his short but promising musical career.
