Sie werden jeden Tag wieder geboren, um zu SEIN. Ja, die Erde weist ihre Erwählten aus. Wie ein Schatten folgt die Seele der Erde den von ihr Ausgezeichneten, um sich durch sie in ihrer Hoffnung, ihrem Schmerz und in ihrem AllEinSein zu zeigen. So du ein Erwählter bist, hast du den Ruf der Erde vernommen, verstehst du ihren Schatten – dich erwartet eine grosse Verantwortung. welche dich erwählt hat. Mit diesem Licht wurdest du ausgezeichnet um deiner Hingabe willen, nicht obdeiner Selbstzufriedenheit. Das Licht, welches das Herz des Künstlers erhellt, ist eine wundersame Lampe, die dem Menschen dazu dient, die Schönheit des Weges zu erkennen, in seiner Einsamkeit, im Griff 
der Angst, in der Liebe und im Tod. Wenn du nicht an die Menschen glaubst, wenn du weder liebst noch hoffst, weder mit den Menschen leidest noch geniest, wirst du es nie vermögen, dieses wundersame Geschenks zu teilen. Vielleicht wirst du dein Drama vom mürrischen Menschen schreiben, doch ohne AllEinSein. Du wirst von deinen Irrwegen singen, aber dein Schrei ist nur dein eigener, den schon niemand mehr verstehen wird. Ja, die Erde weist ihre Erwählten aus. Und wenn das Ende kommt, werden sie ihre Vergütung haben - niemand wird sie erwähnen, sie sind das immer währende ANONYM, die Stimme, die niemals begraben werden wird…

Today we welcome Guzy to the Schirmchendrink bartender team. Based in Marburg, Germany, he is full of passion for deep and progressive house.  
 
Part of Bunkermusik (Germany) and Kemistrybookings (Beirut/Marrakech) he played in venues across Germany, Switzerland and Lebanon.  
Further and in collaboration with Foreign Guest he just released his first track on the Morva EP, which came out on Underyourskin Records. 
 
Guzy mixed a seriously strong Gin Basil Smash for you, packed with deep and dark rythms. Perfect to recall your weekend highlights on this beautiful monday evening!

I started recording this podcast at 4am on a not-quite-spring morning in Berlin. When I began, night ruled the sky and I felt warm and calm. By mid way through, the first hint of sun emerged and out-shone the stars and clouds. All of a sudden: a pleasant dawn (falaq). 
You can hear all of these feelings in the set and I hope you can imagine this special time when you listen to it. Or perhaps you can try it at 4am wherever you live, and tell me how you felt. 
I believe love is transcendent. 
And yes... I recorded it in one take!

Sabo live Katerblau Kiosk 

Here's the recording for my DJ set from July 2nd, 2017 at the Katerblau Kiosk, hands down my favorite place to play music in Berlin.  The whole venue is a wonderland of discovery, the staff is extremely kind and hospitable, and I don't think I've played for a more open minded crowd in all of Europe. Longer sets allows you to take your time and be patient with the music, and the mixing.  The slow building journey I had imagined in my mind, was possible to make a reality, and extra time allowed me to experiment as well. This was probably my favorite gig of my entire 2 month Summer Sol Europe Tour. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I had creating it in the Kiosk.  Thanks to Mira, Britta, Martin, Claudia, Joyce, David, Brett, Toto, Sylvie, Dorin, any other friends I may have forgotten who were there, and especially to all you lovely dancers who joined me on this ride. Das Bild vom Kornfeld.
Weiße Schäfchenwolken bedecken den blauen Himmel. Nur hier und da lugt das Himmelblau verstohlen hinter der Wolkendecke hervor. Am Horizont erspähe ich die unscharfen, dennoch deutlich erkennbaren, Schatten der Berge. Oder ist es nur ein großer Berg? Schwer zu sagen...
Direkt vor mir liegt ein kleines Dorf, eingebettet in die von Wäldern durchzogene Landschaft. Zwischen den einzelnen Wohnhäusern mache ich ein Gehöft aus, die Geräusche von Nutztieren dringen bis zu mir herüber. Vor dem kleinen Dörfchen erstreckt sich eine weite Wiese. Im leichten Schein der Nachmittagssonne sieht das Gras frisch und kräftig aus. Die Wiese grenzt an ein Kornfeld, an dass Kornfeld. Der Weizen ist zum Großteil bereits geerntet und die beinahe mannshohen Garben sind über das ganze Feld verteilt. 
Und ich... Ich liege hier auf meiner faulen Haut, umgeben von Getreide und Stoppeln und genieße mein Leben mit einer gestopften Pfeife im Mund.
