"The Bassment" is a five-track EP rooted in bass house and tech house, created to energize the start of any DJ’s set. Each song is designed as an ideal opener, bringing the energy and rhythm that gets people moving and sets the tone for the night. Austria's 'The Wash' makes his MTDF debut, after several years of solid production and pushing his sound, and has seen his music grace Selador, Manual, Mango Alley. He teams up with the rising Dutch production stars 'Patch Park', who have appeared on Plastic Fantastic, District and Meanwhile.

'Ignition' is a mystical techno nodded deeper edged driver, moody and cool in equal measures, plenty of drive, and is all about the groove!

On remix duties is 'Zuccasam', also making a name for himself, with his music featured on Nightcolours, Dissideny and UV. This remix keeps it deep, yet adds musicality and brings some tripped out flavours to proceedings.

Andres is a Zurich-based melodic techno producer and DJ. He started producing his own music over a decade ago and has released tracks on labels such as Musica Gourmet and Oxytech Records. His sets are a mix of driving rhythms and uplifting melodies, carefully crafted to take listeners on a journey. Known for his ability to deeply connect with the crowd, Andres brings an intuitive energy to the dance floor, creating memorable experiences through music. 

Funny story about how Andres got into music production?
"I loved playing the piano and listening to music when I was a kid. At the age of 15, my uncle gave me his old laptop, which had Ableton Live installed. I started experimenting and quickly got into producing electronic music. Shortly after, I began DJing—first for friends, and gradually in clubs. During that time, I was deeply inspired by the layered melodies in Avicii’s music. Over time, I began shaping my own sound, moving more towards melodic techno."

Bio:
Born in October 1960, I first encountered psychedelic music at 15—and from that moment, it never let me go. In the mid-90s, I attended my first rave and house party, and by 1997, I was fully immersed in the world of psy-trance. For over a decade, I was an active part of the North German psy-trance scene, until I took a long creative break in 2010.

In 2021, I made my return—this time as a DJ. The modern psy-trance sound didn’t resonate with me, so I took a different path. I began blending various genres while reviving the signature rhythm of 2000s psy-trance. Long, beatless breakdowns? Not my thing. Instead, I either shorten them or keep the energy flowing with a subtle beat—because nothing disrupts the dancefloor vibe more than unnecessary pauses.

My sets focus on progressive tracks and genre-crossing mixes, all designed with one goal: to guide dancers on a journey, gradually building towards an electrifying peak. Every track is carefully placed, creating a seamless story that energizes the dance floor and sparks the imagination.
