Josh (@soundcloud.com/josh-t-music) is certainly one of the most ecletic selectors (and DJs) out there. Whether in his mobile record shop (now dysfunct unfortunately), with his buddie James as "The Ghost", or flying solo: the amount of quality records that have gone through this man's hand is close to unmatched.

For 5918mins., Josh unpacks a mix unlike anything we have ever heard before. It is hard to pin down genre-, or time-wise, but it is safe to say that it is up there with our favorite mixes of all time. His approach feels very patient, yet goes from organic to synthetic, from uplifting to drowzy and back within 80 minutes. Maybe it is the reappearing pockets of breathing space, the passages of insightful, beautiful vocals - or maybe, we'll never really know and just enjoy.

The demure appearance of Romanian artist Praslea belies his deep involvement in the music industry. With his name appearing on top events, especially in his home town of Bucharest, circa 2007, Florin Cunțan is a certified don of our scene. Having been inducted into the [a:pia:r] clique from an early age his “Jurnal De Bord” EP way back in 2009 he has hardly been prolific, but this is not where his real talent lies. With his solo credentials above reproach, it is par for the course for Praslea and his peers to perform together even at the biggest of events. So, it is hardly surprising that two artists from this family should join forces on the regular and that partnership is Praslesh. Not wishing to over comment on this duo, this does, however, go some way to explain the level of skill that Florin commands. Surely one of the best DJs in the game of House Music, Gene has not only presented killer mix after killer mix showcasting the immense depth of his collection, he also is a very good producer himself - constantly raising the bar on his very own "Limousine Dream" imprint. 

For 5918mins., Gene slows things down a couple of BPM and leads us through the downtempo side of things, with the same combination of thorough- and playfulness that has become a hallmark of his mixes. We're very happy to have him onboard and will patiently wait in line for track IDs. Enjoy!
