Our very own Noraj Cue brings a remix that is compelling, seductive, yet still raw at the same time. The right balance of build and progression keeps your head and body in motion. Seasoned with sounds from the original in combination with some timed randomness will maintain a steady development throughout. We always love Jaron's touch.

Futaleufu, a Mapudungun word meaning ‘Big River,’ starts with a driving kick that channels into a dark, rolling bassline. Elements of techno, and tribal percussion paves the way to this stream of mysteriousness and hypnotic spirit. This is what we’ve been waiting for. Give in.

And to top of the ep, Britta’s remix is a deep fusion of techno and grindy house with a sprinkle of acid. Her intricate layers of drum elements play perfectly off each other to provide an ‘elefante’ und elegante taste of minimal tech, that signature sound you and I so dearly love to hear from this Katerblau resident. Meoooow!

After remixing GMJ & Matter’s “Lost on Origin” in late 2020, Imran Khan returned to Meanwhile with a full EP debut in February 2021. Returning to the stellar release, two new remixes come from Argentinean and Greek stars.

A legendary figure in the underground house fraternity, Juan Deminicis has consistently been at the cutting edge of the movement with a distinctive and innovative sound that has seen him grace such iconic imprints as Pablo Bolivar’s Seven Villas, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Guy J’s Lost & Found. Now making his Meanwhile debut, the Juan Deminicis remix of “Horizonz” is a compelling rework that dazzles with trademark rhythmic flair and sumptuous melodic arrangement. Layers of sound cascade over each other in intelligent fashion as the cadence of the original is enhanced with a dynamic vibrancy from sparkling hi-hats. Sumptuous pads and reverb-coated synth lines ripple across proceedings with ease as the subtle motifs of Khan’s work are complemented further by Deminicis’ stunning artistry.

Another iconic figure to feature heavily within the progressive house movement, Simos Tagias has been a watchword for high-quality production work that has been at the heart of a plethora of blue-chip labels after early work for Lynx Records in late 2012. Since then, some 400 production credits have featured heavily for the likes of Roger Martinez’s Higher States, Aly & Fila’s FSOE and the evergreen Proton Music. March 2021’s “Euphoria / Emotion” EP showcased the Greek producer’s talents on Meanwhile as he now returns with a blistering reworking of “Horizonz” that carries all the hallmarks of an artist at the height of his powers. Pitched arpeggios rise and fall with ease as subtle melodic layers criss-cross in imperceptible patterns, creating new harmonies and pulsating waves of sound. Reaching a rousing crescendo, a hypnotic new motif appears in the second half to mesmeric effect as Tagias extends Imran Khan’s work into a stunning new direction.

Following on from the summer success of 'Jailed in a Cell', Till The Sunrise welcomes Hernan Cattaneo and Jamie Stevens to remix NOIYSE PROJECT's 2022 hit 'Remember Me'. With eighteen months passed since NOIYSE PROJECT's Till The Sunrise imprint unveiled it's first release, we've yet to see any other artists other than  NOIYSE PROJECT himself on the label. This creative swell of what has primarily been single track offerings, has seen the beloved Sri Lankan rise into the #1 spot in Beatport's Best Selling Hype artists, a position which has been reserved for just a select few across the last two calendar years. With many progressive music fans wondering when or if Till The Sunrise would open it's doors to new artists on the label, NOIYSE PROJECT has done it and in the grandest fashion with Hernan Cattaneo & Jamie Stevens turning in a must have rendition of 'Remember Me'. 

Needing little introduction and simply known as the maestro, Hernan Cattaneo is one of the world’s most beloved DJs and his Sudbeat Music imprint is widely regarded as one of the best in its field. With a career that spans over three decades, Hernan Cattaneo has recorded eleven albums, thirty singles and fifty remixes, all while touring the world delighting passionate music lovers with his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills. Meanwhile, Australian artist Jamie Stevens has achieved an amazing level of critical and commercial success over the course of his three-decade long career. As one of his country’s most talented and sought-after artists, Jamie has proven his skill in professional sound design, film scores and contemporary electronic music. Prolific and consistent in equal measure, Jamie has enjoyed a creative swell in recent years, landing releases via Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream, John Digweed’s Bedrock Records and Guy J’s Lost & Found. Although both Hernan and Jamie do find themselves in collaborations with other artists on a regular basis, the legendary pair have only collaborated once prior to this, on an unofficial remix of Pink Floyd's 'Breathe', making their take on 'Remember Me' their first officially released production, and what a fine remix it is. While maintaining the elusive spirit of the original, Hernan and Jamie craft a sweeping sonic experience all his own, a spirited journey into an melodic hinterland, where striking chord stabs, orbiting effects and emotive melodies surface from their progressive architecture, onwards to a finale of chugging grooves and heartfelt harmonies. A poignant interpretation from the legendary duo, one which would have to be in the running for best progressive house remix of the year, and further elevates NOIYSE PROJECT's Till The Sunrise imprint to even loftier heights. Highly recommended.
