London-based producer 0comeups continues this trajectory with his latest release, One Deep, on Geng’s Purple Tape Pedigree label. Over 5 tracks, he explores disparate sonic textures that come together to create a virtual studio technology for laptop producers somewhere in an alternate hyperreality. Although aiming not to reveal too much of himself in this collection of songs, wanting it to sound like a "preset library demo," there still remain traces of 0comeups' emotions in the project’s synthetic layered vocals, dreamy pads, and blunted clamors - generating themselves seemingly out of nowhere, only to digitally disintegrate moments later. 

One Deep stands as both the closing chapter to Purple Tape Pedigree and the shift into a new mode of operation as simply PTP. After 15 releases in the last 12 months - with 3 more from years prior - this transformation comes through a yearning to deviate further away from the traditional framework. What will remain is the focus on increasingly extreme sonics and collaboration, while embracing a signature design approach. A graduation from erstwhile flesh.

‘FINTY’ is the debut EP from artist practitioner, producer and DJ JASPER JARVIS. Created during JARVIS’ first year of being open as a trans/non binary person, 'FINTY’ performs as a conjuring of complex moods - a spectrum of reflective moments stemming from personal experiences. JARVIS succeeds in tracing a rich journey through their trans experience, festering moments of panic, hope and anxiety, whilst at the core highlighting marginalised language as the catalyst to re-wiring the precarious nature of being human. 

All profits from the EP sales are to be donated to JARVIS in support of their gender confirming process.

K. Mulhern is a poet, filmmaker, and sound artist based in NYC. Her work looks at the swath of human time from the detached standpoints of pre-humanity and post-apocalypse through an iconography of discarded artifacts and Edenic landscapes. 

Cember (Pressed against Winter I have a floating feeling) is an unusually personal work for Mulhern, functioning as a diaristic record of the month of December. The mix travels from one movement to another stitched by field recordings of the artist’s shoes clacking in the subway station, environments shifting as she passes conversations, creaking rails, a plaintive subway performance. Also included is a recording of her mother following along to a YouTube laughter yoga tutorial and a Bruce Springsteen song Mulhern once fell in love to.

We are happy to present Contacto’s (SP) first reference, where he is in charge of the production of a double-edged sword: the two-track single ‘Two Of Swords’, featuring @rafdemons (PT), also debuting, at the helm of vocals. 
In the first piece, Contacto opts for a cold sonority, meticulously aggressive and subordinated to a wiry pulse that gently transmutes into their second proposal which presents a scenery abundant in dynamism yet with a sweeter, dreamier sound that evokes reconciliation. 
The collaboration between the producer and the portuguese artist is based in their audio correspondence from the moments when the sanitary crisis in both the producer’s native country of Spain and Portugal was at its peak, reflecting in the creative process the confronted desires and fears —so characteristic of the times— around the anticipated reunion.
