And we're back at it with the fifth addition of our DRBM series.

This time we look to a selector who has been a real favourite for many years and I'm glad to now call him a friend. A man who seems to locate and procure the slices that everyone wants but just can't find. It is of course Enchanted Rhythms. With more bangers than your local greasy spoon and a bag deeper than the seven seas, there was no doubt he'd put something special together for the occasion.

DRBM05 - Enchanted Rhythms

For our next instalment of Trommel InSession we present a mix from somewhat of a Renaissance Man. Barcelona-based DJ, producer, label head and Subwax vinyl distribution director Baldo has many many strings to his bow. Having been presenting his musical vision firstly with Neovinyl Recordings and latterly the widely supported Physical Education Baldo has been a major part of the music industry since day one. Also, providing tracks for imprints such as Permanent Vacation, Small Hours, Running Back it is clear from this range of top labels that Baldo has many sounds in his locker.

Speaking with the Subwax boss he explains his part to play in presenting music in advance, “Running a distribution company that helps to manufacture the records gives me the privilege to have access to music months in advance before they are being released.” Baldo goes on to give us the lowdown on his mix, “In the case of this mix most of them are unreleased, and since I've been playing these tracks in my latest gigs I noticed straightaway from the crowd feedback that many of these will be future hits." Stitching together tracks from Man/ipulate, Liquid Earth, the Limousine Dream label, Fio Fa, Occcibel, Alex Kassian Baldo shows just why he is the go to selector for the best parties both home and abroad.
