"This mix was recorded in July 2021 at an indoor club in Omotesando, when lockdown was briefly loosen and was allowed to party at night little bit (maybe for about 2 weeks). It’s an excerpt of that all nighter set I have played, everyone wearing mask so was not able to see their faces but seemingly people were having a good time."

He began his DJ music career in the early 1990s, and after being a member of the experimental alternative electro/hip-hop group "Asteroid Desert Songs" and "Smurphies' Fearless Bunch", he is currently exploring new musical worlds every day as a DJ, including activities as a DJ trio "Akuma no numa", while playing alongside various artists in Japan and abroad.

"I recorded this mix on a hot summer night after putting my kids to bed and drinking some orange wine from Georgia that had a trendy label. It features various repetitive beat music songs from what can only be described as the golden age of the genre; 1994-2022. I built the mix around three tracks: a dodgy progressive house record that I bought about 20 years ago and recently discovered sounds quite good at the wrong speed, a cracking unreleased cover of a trip-hop classic by Lew E., aka T. Wallace aka Tornado W., and a beautiful UR record that just ruins me every time. It took two takes because halfway through the first recording my mother messaged me on messenger asking why I was up so late. This is serious mum! Anyway hope you enjoy it. Thank you for listening.
