"Reemerging from the threshold of the cosmic vortex, Black Lodge returns with another sonic artifact that is charged with vigorous chaotic energy, known as EXPERIMENT_ZERO. Accounts of the radiant object’s origin are as mysterious as the raw energy that utters from its core. Following a close study, the guardians of the portal suspect that “Experiment Zero” was a primordial experiment rooted in the slam jack pits and DIY warehouse rituals of ages passed. A sonic dialog constructed of various languages, spanning from roots-house jak to bare-knuckled electro are revealed across the artifact - a revolutionary tale that surpasses the constructs of ephemerality, with a refusal to be ignored.

Across the release the listener is confronted with fearless acid lines that are underscored by a tone of revolution, and sets the stage for a human voice that switches between modes of a sharp and mutated presence. The power of such sonic objects are both celebrated and rejected by various tribal societies. It is all dependent on the belief structures and traditional histories of its members. Those that belong to the cult of Ron Hardy, Mad Mike Banks, Traxx, and JTC will welcomingly be drenched in its riotous energies. It is for the dedicated, not the light-hearted."

Welcome to the new output of HueHelix.
For our 21st release, Go Hiyama brings the 2nd part of Regular Separation, which features 3 original tracks and a stunning Bas Mooy Remix. ‘Junk Space’ opens up the EP with his unique rhythm patterns and impressive pad, which works perfect for peak time. ‘Vortex And Scales And Thorns’ gives you more laid-back feeling, with addictive and poisonous loopy style. After that, Mord label head, Bas Mooy, reforms that original version into a killer peak time anthem with driving atmosphere and funky stabs. At last, ‘Huis Tuin En Keuken’ closes the EP with another unique funky elements. The crazy synth sound makes the track even more unique than just one of those funky Techno tracks. Go has been exploring wide range of musical activities and this shows what he’s been through.

HHX21 - Go Hiyama / Regular Separation 2/2

Estratagemas series is the last release of the year 2020 from Pildoras Tapes, VA divided into three parts and that has been released one per month from September to next November, this VA brings together a total of 18 artists from different parts of the world like Colombia, Argentina, Italy, Russia and Greece exploring genres like Dark Wave, Electro, EBM, New beat, Breakbeat, Industrial & Post Punk.

The second cassette will be released on October 2, bringing together the artists with the strongest sound of the three and more dance floor oriented. Cavalry Stone duo Spanish brings a track that recalls the most classic sound of the New Beat, Mavridis increases the tension in the VA with a track with strong EBM & Industrial sounds, Ravetop Colombian artists integrate various voices into their track giving us a new sound panorama with a great fresh feel to sing along, jump and dance.

The B-side of the release changes in its sound, starting with the Greek artist Petros who contributes a track with a beautiful structure and a dark aesthetic faithful to the sound that has been produced in the European country, next the Argentine artist Mtheorem with all the rawness possible and we could say the track more focused on EBM and Techno of all the VA for its strong percussive hit. Felipe Parraga ends, Colombian producer also known as "Saurio" who gives us a cut with strong sounds of Breakbeat and electro being the perfect closing for this versatile release.

Estrategmas  can be purchased in digital format or in cassette format, of each part 20 copies in physical format (white cassette) go on sale.

I first heard Toby's work back in the 90's when I was but a wee raver in the Toronto scene. His track "Dollar" was on the Plastikman Mixmag CD and it was responsible for introducing me to something new I'd never heard. I later found a release of his at Threads in Detroit (The Occupation EP on Sativae) and things only improved from there. I now have and love just about everything the man has done and have secured not just this one, but two tracks of his for this compilation.

To celebrate 500 episodes of Bleep Radio...

In 2003 I began streaming live via Livesets dot com. Over the years the number of annually archived shows has always fluctuated, but eventually it appears 500 has arrived. Sure the actual number of streams is probably triple that or more, but that's harder to celebrate.

This 4x12" Boxed Set represents the artists whose music I play the most on Bleep Radio. Literally and objectively played the most. I'm a big number crunching statistics nerd and have trended my own track-lists for years as many of you know. As a Canadian, far removed from where the music I like shines the brightest I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to meet with and play alongside a lot of these folks in person and not just via the stream.

Bleep Radio is expected to hit show 500 on May 14th which is when --if all things align-- this release will be ready. The 500th show will consist of a mix of all of the tracks on this release by myself, plus...guests?

This release is isn't just a milestone, it's an open love letter to all of you whose music I play and will continue to play and support. Keep it wonky folks.
