Hey man great music, looked you up on spotify, adding a couple of your tunes to my running playlist, gonna be jamming!

Update: Being so close to the anniversary of this playlist, I figured it would be nice to rummage through the list and rearrange some tracks in a bit of a new order. I've also added about 20 new tracks which I stumbled across during these past dozen months or so. Aside from that, there isn't much else, so take care and cheers, from Xavi Vapid.

Over the course of several years, I've listened to thousands of songs covering thousand of ideas and emotions. This playlist, one of hopefully many to come, details a vague story out of around 150 of those tracks. It progresses through hopeful beginnings, utter despair, and then of course, the long road to repair. Through this playlist I convey a tale of my own struggles and personality, but only by piecing together bits of others'. It is at my most humble that I present to you Sin and Solace, a product of dozens of artists' unceasing work and love. Cheers, from Xavi Vapid.

One of these rare moments:
Sometime last week, 1am - just finished watching a movie and it was time to get some sleep. But I don't wanted to, even though I was pretty tired. I wanted to do something, be active. So I sat down and played some notes on my piano.. one thing led to another - 4am.

Open windows, traffic sounds - the city was waking up again already. Microphones hanging out of my window.. yep, that's a passing truck in this track.. it's this time in the morning, when I feel really creative and things can be so easy.

This is The Awakening.

Tontario X Leo Islo - Coexist

LAMP member Leo Islo joins forces with Tontario on an emotionally charged journey in 'Coexist'. The subtle crackle of a vinyl can be heard as Islo's soothing lyrics echo through the shrouds of a hazy, cavernous abyss. A soft piano chord calmly progresses resting underneath a thin layer of warm, ethereal synths that slowly crescendo into a collective auditory atmosphere. Soft shakers melt together with loose claps and other percussive layers to create an aqueous soundscape. The track looks to leave the listener with a renewed sense of clarity, unity and hopeful outlook on the world that is recurrently divisive.

Tontario's grasp for sewing the threads of talented vocal artists with delicate melodic compositions is acutely demonstrated in this latest collaboration with Leo Islo. The Finnish producer has clearly made his mark as well as a lasting impression on his audience that will resonate for some time to come.
