I was happy to see the announcement of a new song by the Kessoku Band, so I played from last year's their album.

フラッシュバッカー(Flashbacker)

This is an unusual acoustic guitar solo from Masayoshi Takanaka's album "The Rainbow Goblins. The acoustic guitar solo is a well thought out phrase, and seems to make heavy use of the first and second strings to get a nice resonance. The fast phrases are a bit unsuccessful. The Yamaha SG only plays an obbligato-like melody, but it is an impressive phrase.

The Sunset Valley

I played Seven Goblins by Masayoshi Takanaka. At the time, I was like, "How can you play this fast?" I was surprised at that time. 
Well, it is not easy for me to play this even now.

I bought a new Stratocaster type guitar, so I replayed this song that goes well with the Stratocaster.

Once Upon A Song

I purchased the traditional Ibanez overdrive, the Tube Screamer TS808HW, and tried it out on this song. It is hand-wired with carefully selected wiring and internal components, offering a wider headroom compared to the conventional Tube Screamer and even capable of producing sounds somewhat similar to the BOSS BD-2.

I played a messy version of “Void(空の箱),” an insert song from the now-popular Japanese anime “Girls Band Cry.

I played the song ‘SPACE WAGON’ from Takana Masayoshi’s EP ‘Finger Dancin’.’ I remember it being used as an insert song for the anime ‘Return of Lum, Urusei Yatsura’ and as a commercial song for Mazda 3 at the time.

I played this song, which sounds like 80s Japanese fusion, because I like the interplay between the distorted tone and the clean tone of the lead guitar. I played the riff with a Fernandes Stratocaster type, the clean tone with an Epiphone Casino, and the distorted tone with an Aria ProII PE-1500. For the feedback technique at the end, I used a BOSS DF-2, which can simulate feedback.

Since the summer was so hot, I played this song, which was a hit in Japan in 1987.

Today marks the 33rd anniversary of Freddie Mercury's passing. In Japanese Buddhist tradition, it's believed that after 33 years, a departed soul can reach the Pure Land—a state of ultimate peace and enlightenment. I've performed this song in his honor.

I tried playing Stevie Nicks' famous song from Fleetwood Mac that I used to listen to often on the radio when I was a student.
I was reminded of this song after hearing about my family's hardships over the weekend, which shocked me. Though I don't fully understand the true meaning of this song, to me it seems to express determination in the face of fear of collapse and anxiety about the future.
