the energy at Unison was cultivated in such a perfect way, building it up, so we could dance our bones off one last time for the morning dance. 

This one, was a special one, as i had the opportunity to cocreate this set with my favorite characters & musicians  in different ways. Big shoutouts to all of them:

Unfortunately the Mic that was used for all this blessing wasn't connected to the controller, so the voices are not recorded in this mix. 

Good news, is that we recorded this set on video, so after all the editing details, i will be posting a full 2 hour video of this beautiful journey including all the other layers.

[Upbeat samba jazz: swinging surdo and pandeiro percussion, syncopated samba groove at 110-130 BPM, nylon-string guitar comping jazzy chords, walking double bass, brushed drums with ride cymbal swing.]

[Verse 1]

[detuned electric baritone spaghetti guitar tuned in E flat using the tremolo arm to get full tone drops playing complex dissonant cords 9/11/13/7]

[Build: Add expressive organic calm Fleta flamenco  guitar solo, improvisational flair, piano accents trading with guitar.]

[Chorus]
(Chorus  — catchy, melodic hook with call-and-response feel, interspersed with female bebob voices)

[Verse 2]
(Verse 2 )

[Escalate: clean dark sounding jazz guitar with bebop lines, tamborim and cuíca adding Brazilian fire, full band swinging harder.]

[Bridge – instrumental break: Piano trio spotlight — intricate chords, bass walking faster, drums trading fours, pure jazz improvisation over samba rhythm.]

[Final Chorus]
(Final chorus  — bigger, with layered harmonies and spaghetti guitar unhinged solos)

[Fade out: Gentle return to soft guitar and percussion, echoing Rio nightlife saudade.]

A fine rain began to fall with a white noise. Your surroundings came alive with a steady beat. The land was calling out to you, guiding you across a moor dotted with small ponds and old oak trees. The ground rumbled, and a clear break in the clouds seemed to tell you where the voices stopped.

A very strong and magical Ecstatic Dance session with 130 dancers dancing in a million ways at the winter solstice.
From the beginning to the end everybody was tuned in and turned on, it became one of the better ecstatic sessions I experienced
