The song talks about the passing & keeping of knowledge. Mau Power has been given ancient knowledge by a wise elder & in the first verse he talks about the honour of this process & how is now ready to be a man, to be a leader of his people. 

After a dramatic cinematic introduction that takes you to the heart of the Islands, there is a big chorus & MP goes on to deliver a captivating first verse that is rapped in Traditional language. 

In the second verse that is rapped in English, Mau Power talks about what he is going to do with this knowledge to help ensure the survival of his people, & the survival of their strong, proud culture.

This has become a classic from Brisbane, Townsville to Cairns, The Torres Strait Islands & indeed the world. This version was remixed & re-recorded by Meridian Nights.
