I posted a comparison last week but deleted it - this is a better one, just me noodling Stay on a Strat with Kinmans, neck pickup, Beautiful Day verse sound.

I had a lot of problems with asymmetric clipping on the Liverpool and tried lots of things to fix it. The solution revealed something about the Joyo - it is not true bypass. I had them in series, Liverpool first into the Joyo. When I did them in isolation, the clipping (almost - there are a couple of crackles on the Liverpool one and my level was NOT too high) was gone. The Joyo, on the other hand, caused no problems at all apart from when the Liverpool sound was routed through it.

This was as close as I could get it with the pedals plugged in one at a time.

2nd go at U2's Beautiful Day, using Pod HD500 for all FX, Tech 21 LIverpool for amps. Used the DTS SDD-3KP on the verse, OD and pitch shifted parts this time, a bit less drive plus a few changes to delay mod settings and mixes. This one is not 100% live - I made preset changes and recorded them - if I liked the sound in the mix, that part went in. The entire end from "See the..." and OD section is live though.

My attempt at the Achtung Baby version of U2's The Fly. Haven't done every single overdub and flourish, just the main bits. Not enough hours in the day to completely recreate it. So, an "almost" album version...
