Maya K had her first studio recording session as a Vocalist at a local music studio at around 15. This was shortly before leaving school with not much of an interest in anything except Music. This talent and passion quickly blossomed into a love for making Music. At age 17, a bedroom producer was born after laying down beats on Fruity Loops. In 2013 Maya K produced her first House track "Move In The Dark” which featured on her Debut EP.

In the last Year DJ & Producer Maya K has been spotlighted by tastemakers in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Los Angeles & New York (USA), Cologne (Germany), Rome (Italy), Amsterdam (Holland), Accra (Ghana) and the list goes on.

It is not very often an unsigned artist catches the attention of the Godfather of House music. Maya K has just been asked to join InHouse Records, the Label headed up by Todd Terry. This comes after releasing her Debut EP "Only Young Once" in 2014. Maya K says "This has been the biggest breakthrough in my Music career yet and has left me over the moon".

It seems Maya K has come along way since them humble beginnings. It has been a massive journey so far and is certain that she has a long and promising career ahead.

The Only Young Once EP was re-released on May 25th 2015 by Todd Terry's New York Label, InHouse Records.
