A Work Of Heart

I actually composed this song long ago and had a lot of trouble with it due to a corrupted MIDI sequence. I eventually rewrote some of it from scratch to get it back to what it was. The name, Vivo Perché Amo, is Italian, and translates to "I live because I love."

I wrote this little instrumental around the poem "In Flanders Fields" by John McCrae.

This song was written to be somewhat complicated. After years of using Acoustica Mixcraft, I decided it was time to upgrade to something more professional. This is the first piece of mine mixed and edited in Cakewalk SONAR X3 Producer. 
It seemed about time for a change.

Fever Pitch

"Non Preoccuparti" is "Don't you worry" in Italian.
This track was actually written for two people, both of whom needed some cheering up at the same time. I was going to write a song anyway, so I told each of them the song was for them. I wasn't lying to either one. 
I wanted to wait until I got SONAR before I released this, but I realized I actually liked the song better mixed the way it was. 
This is probably the last time I'll be releasing something that was mixed and edited in Acoustica Mixcraft.

Two-Faced: First Half

This is me, all right. I'm a pretty interesting guy. Of course, you'd have to know me, but you can take my word for it. I'm usually pretty trustworthy. If you like my songs, make sure you're giving some of the credit to the two people that helped me along the way: somethingrandom for helping me understand MIDI and referring me to the current compositional tools I use, and Darque Myth for inspiring me so long ago to start actually FINISHING my music.
