haunting. desperate. spacey. and somehow still encouraging. this track brings with it highs and lows and a melody I cannot escape from.

Tried to make this song as stripped down as possible so it could work with more instruments. I realize it's pretty repetitive, but I also had a pretty strong sense of urgency in my wanting to share this. YEAH, I KNOW THE MIDI STRINGS SOUND AWFUL, BUT I WAS JUST LAYING DOWN THE MELODY SO I WOULDNT FORGET IT FUCK OFF

The seductive tune chronicles a night of partying, giving a glimpse into the excesses of the rock star lifestyle. The night starts with a backstage encounter between Apache and a woman looking to escape the pressures of conventional life. By the end of the song, a choice is presented to surrender to indulgence or to retreat to society's expectations.

The song builds from a lightly-picked, arpeggiated chord progression to an anthemic riff paired with a sing-along chorus. Apache's breathy verses lead the listener down the rabbit hole before eventually reaching the other side, as the song concludes with a Deadly Habits guitar solo. The track fades away with some hints of more to come, establishing the deadly pair as a duo to pay attention to.
