Burning Man, where to even begin...Being surrounded with 80.000 beautiful idiots made me feel right at home. The experienced sense of freedom and spontaneity will always be a part of me. Thanks to Robot Heart & Mayan Warrior for allowing us to play a B2B unlike anything we’ve done before and to Playground for being the warmest possible home and allowing us to end it all with a seven hour B2B on the Fun House. It was just perfect.

Charlotte de Witte B2B Enrico Sangiuliano - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2022

Julie Lojkine took up mixing at a point in life when most DJs have already left the scene. The name Mother came naturally: whispered in the clubs where she often played, until it simply became part of her. What was once a nickname became her identity. Mother began mixing industrial techno three years ago in the heart of Parisian LGBT nightlife, shaping her sound within the hard industrial Monasterio movement.

In recent months, she has drastically lowered her BPM to align with her first productions, soon to be released on @revokrecords: 4 tracks delivering an anguishing urge to dance, as if to exorcise the madness of a world falling apart. Her sets attempt to reconcile her new and earlier influences, merging the hard kicks of Eastern Europe with the organic percussions and trippy atmospheres of the original scene.

Mother is also the founder and resident of the FLINTA collective @techno_fatale. Julie Lojkine has recently played for Parisian well-known industrial events (Ghost Night, Monarch, T4P) in emblematic places such as the Monarch, Glazart or KM25.
