Bipolar Sunshine has announced his new single ‘Deckchairs on the Moon’, which will be released on 6th July 2014 ...


In keeping with his fresh, idiosyncratic sound and conversational vocals, ‘Deckchairs on the Moon’ is a light-hearted and upbeat track with an incredibly addictive chorus that will almost definitely be sung en masse from the fields of Somerset to the shores of Ibiza this summer. It’s Bipolar Sunshine at his most charismatic.

Bipolar Sunshine is the solo project of Manchester’s Adio Marchant who with every release continues to impress and carve out his own singular path as one of the most exciting new artists to look out for in 2014... 

This summer he is set to step things up another gear with his new single and UK festivals performances including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party and Reading & Leeds. He follows this with a UK headline tour in September and October including shows at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire and Manchester’s Ritz. 

Bipolar Sunshine has been working with Kid Harpoon (Florence And The Machine, Jessie Ware), Fraser T Smith (Adele, Lily Allen) and close producer 21-year-old Jazz Purple to put the finishing touches to his debut record.

Remixes on the package include interpritations from Elderbrook, London duo Eli & Fur, Northampton duo Just Kiddin and Brooklyn, NYC Beatsmith Harry Fraud ( French Montana /  Jadakiss ) ...

Approaching its 10-year anniversary, the Los Angeles-based label Young Art Records was launched by recording artist TOKiMONSTA in 2014. It debuted with the release of her mini-album Desiderium, which showcases features from Anderson .Paak and Joyce Wrice. Additional collaborations include Ambré, EARTHGANG, Ryuichi Sakamoto, VanJess, The Drums, Isaiah Rashad, Yuna and Selah Sue. TOKiMONSTA’s goal was to create a platform that would help nurture the creative output of talented artists, using her own releases to solidify the foundation of the label. Young Art has gone on to release the Juno-nominated album Play with the Changes by Canadian R&B icon Rochelle Jordan, Svengali by Cakes da Killa (rated 4 out of 5 stars by The Guardian), and Grammy-nominated “Best Electronic'' album Lune Rouge by TOKiMONSTA. The label’s roster newly boasts Japanese-American producer SHIMA, Miami-raised ROZET, as well as Rochelle Jordan, Keys N Krates, Daktyl + Benni Ola, Suzi Analogue, Rush Davis, Kingdom and more. Since the label’s inception, TOKiMONSTA has released two full-length albums, numerous singles and remixes. TOKiMONSTA’s forthcoming Eternal Reverie LP is projected to release later this year, with the first single “Switch It” (ft. Cakes da Killa + GAWD) released on June 13.
