When the pandemic closed down our production of BEAUTY & THE BEAST, YAA did what it does best: INNOVATE!

This album was recorded one voice and instrument at a time by our students at home using only their smartphones and USB microphones. Thanks to the miracle of technology, students were able to come "together" to create this amazing album of this iconic score.

Highlighting the glorious repertoire of four French female composers of the 19th and 20th centuries: Pauline Viardot, Cécille Chaminade, Germaine Tailleferre, and Lili Boulanger. Theirs is music that is underrepresented in the canon and not often performed or heard.

Young Artists of America, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization that was founded to provide aspiring and talented young musicians with exceptional opportunities to study, rehearse and perform with and be mentored by professional artists and educators in fully orchestrated performances including large scale works of opera, musical theatre, oratorio and dance.

YAA has quickly established itself as the premier collaborative musical program in the mid-Atlantic region for youth interested in classical and theatrical repertoire.
