It's a song about a person who screwed up their relationship with another by not being there and not listening and paying attention. This song was inspired by multiple things: 1) I've got 2 friends who are in their own bands who've invited me to see their shows but I've never gone and I feel bad about it.  2) This girl nicknamed Gabby invited me to watch her perform at our high school football game and I couldn't make that one either.
