Sorry, I'm falling asleep..
I'm always daydream escaping when you're talking to me.
A bit of smoke between my eyelids, I can't focus to see,
Between the Haiku's and the messages you're hoping I read.

Hoping I see the strands of light you hold evoking a scene,
showing us both being opponents I'm postponing the dream.
Potions prone to be overdosing me to cope and achieve,
what we both know is probably hopeless and you don't disagree.

If you catch me looking cold, feeling withdrawn,
speaking whispers like i'm praying for a figment of god,
more than likely I'm just trippin' on something I forgot,
and need a second just to calibrate and feel like it's gone.

When I'm all moody making distance something else is at work,
turning boy into beast, leaving nothing unturned.
Nothing to work with, words lifting stuff to the surface,
it's worthless if we never come together and learn this now.

Looking back through your messages, 
it's like a mirror of defensive, intentions way beyond
what is expected this is not what you desire,
god damn deserve so much... Between our arguments and
more till we both crumble and talk.

Atop the sheets, I'm not the beast...
You lock our feet and whisper kisses as I fumble my speech.
You're like hunger for me so beautiful and one that I need,
loving so pure and truthful, miss you and I ache underneath.

It's like you could take me on about anything, 
but never let me get to ready for forgetting it.
It's upsetting and I'm regretting pretending I was intending,
to stop depending and letting you bury the very thought.

Then again spending each bender preparing for something
better, remembered that you hadn't left me yet cause' you're not that cause.

Of course, I ain't asking I'm telling.
This goes for those who know that side of me unembellished.

You speak dreams and lies it’s frustrating at times/
you never remember anything bar what’s creeping inside/
and what’s seeming to lie at the surface just ain’t worth it/
You’re intelligent…kind… but lacking a purpose/

whether packing a burner or smashing a bourbon/
you’re lacking the nerve to, fathom burden/
your family’s hurting this casualties worsened/
it’s serving you nothing now, i’m hoping that you come around/

so swallow down the hatchet until the bad scatters/

the pillars of bad habits morphing you a mad addict/
improving health is a fad, not giving a crack at it/
even though your fat’s sagging not just in your tummy yo/
inside, arteries, intestines, stunting hope/

coming home, coming too/
wondering what did you lose/
munting up a lung before you’re sucking down another brew/

you’re coming loose, chains off/
wonder where the day’s gone/
straight long curtains to the floor/
and let the haze roll by/

tonight’s here and ready to split/
there’s two sides to this coin and a smooth new hit/

Dreamin in the past too fast for my own vigour/
liquored up I stumble on through this cavern of visions/
I miss having my sight by your side in the night time/
but it went by, gone by...not even goodbye/

just stood by and let your steps trace the exit/
aprehensive to make a statement or sentence/
fuck repentence i miss you its all that i be/
waiting for me outside's the old version of me/

trenchcoat in the rain with a bottle of beam/
stopping to see the starshines off the grot in the street/
what a relief that even grunge gets a shot to be seen/
another shot sees passing cops laughing at me/

but nothing glimmered like your eyes when u started to see/
that love you always i would always love as hard as can be/
advance the path now Im too drunk, im cold and im weak/
crashed out on the couch I tried my hardest to dream/

You're the nightmare I'm trying to disbelieve/

Blank tapes left scattered across a fake rug/
you left a wake once you left n gave up/
the hate sucks me down beneath the grey dust/
misplaced trust erased this place became suss/

without a thought for beginning im distraught in the living room/
hitting goon and playing cds in the afternoon/
its starting to impress me the ash that's collecting/
interjecting by my friends ceased i never stopped venting/

sending signals out on a broke telephone/
the tv chats to me as I swallow and grown home alone/
the saddest part of me isnt I can't see you I sleep/
but my dreams are just that image of you when you leave/

ascending i can see the cleanest part of the floor/
is were your footsteps were leading out of the door/
out the sort of character you left me with/
and in this chair I will sit until you return to see me left to shit/
