We have seriously been getting into Route 94's jams and we think Jess Glynne’s voice is incredible. We absolutely love their fusion of deep house and classic 90s. The original track is dark and sexy so we thought it would be cool to speed it up to 128 bpm and give it a piano-driven, progressive vibe. At the same time we wanted to keep some of that original UK sound, so we experimented with some strings and 808's in the verses. Hope you dig.

We settled at 125 and at first it sort of threw us off but we grew to love it. We're really proud with the result and we hope you guys like it as much as we do!

Hey hey! We're sorry this remix was late getting up here on SoundCloud but it was completely out of our hands! Anyways, Dada Life are one of the first electronic music duos who really blew us away when we started Young Bombs. Their production and talent is just next level and they always seem to stay one step ahead of everyone else. Although it's only coming out now, this remix was made the day after we finished our 'Weekend Millionaires' remix...so, sometime in April. It's 2016. Sorry for the delay in new music. Over the last month we've been focused on building our new sandal company. We've conceptually designed a new type of sandal with rockets in the heels that also works as a cell phone. So basically you can fly and talk at the same time but you have to yell really loudly because the rockets make a lot of noise. It's a work in progress, guys. We'll work out the kinks soon. However, while we were visiting suppliers in China, we had a few hours to crank out this remix. You guys might know Rozes from The Chainsmokers' hit single "Roses". This track is called "Burn Wild", which is also the slogan for our rocket sandals. For 2016, we're only going to focus on remixing songs about either transportation or communication technology (like our sandals). This song isn't about either but who cares when you're going fast.

Yo guys, Martin here.

The last two months have been an insanely dark and difficult time as my dad was diagnosed with aggressive pancreatic cancer. The doctors at first thought he would have months to live, however the cancer had other plans and he was taken from us a week ago March 5th. Having already begun working on this track during the last week of his life, Ocean Eyes took on an entirely new meaning to me. I will never forget sitting in the hospital, holding his hand (he was basically unable to speak at this point) and he would just stare at me with his deep, blue eyes. I could only imagine what words he would have been saying if he could have spoken. This song in turn, would speak to me everyday following his visits, so it holds a very special place in my heart. Tristan and I hope that this song can help heal anyone else out there who needs to be lifted up during a dark time.

This remix is dedicated to Leonard Kottmeier, January 4th, 1937 - March 5th, 2016. 

R.I.P “Dr. Jazz” you will forever be in our hearts.

The first time Martin heard this song on the radio, he called me (Tristan) up and was like, "you HAVE to hear this new song by Alessia Cara! It has this dope 'ay ay ay ahhh' vocal chant in the chorus!" Right away, we thought about how awesome it would be to remix it. Then about a week later, our manager emailed us the track (without knowing how much we liked it) and asked us if we wanted to take a stab at it. No brainer.

A couple of weeks ago we played a show in Vegas. We were on very little sleep and feeling a little under the weather but we still wanted to give the crowd our full maximum amount of energy. We decided to both consume a dangerous amount of Monster energy drinks. The result was amazing! The crowd was buzzing, the Co2 was flowing and our energy was perfect. 
The day carried into the night and in order to keep this majestic outpour of brilliant energy going, we did what any sane, level headed person would do: DRINK MORE MONSTER. Once again, it worked like a charm! With green blood pumping through our veins, we conquered the night! The energy was so high we had to jump in the pool to cool off.
The downside of all this magic was that the next day, we felt as if we had inhaled a mountain of Pablo Escobar's finest cocaine. The shakes were so real, we didn't even consider going to any burger establishments in order to avoid the shame-able puns that would inevitably be thrown at us. That's when we knew: we were addicted to Monster. It was the only cure. This song isn't about your typical romance. This song is dedicated to everyone out there searching for that perfect, thirst-quenching energy.

After taking some much needed time off of remixing to work on our original material (which we can’t wait to show you!), we are back with one of our favourite songs and possibly our favourite remix to date. As a conscious goal for 2018, we really want to make an effort to include more of our musical story in our songs. We are beyond excited to finally share with you our remix of one of our favourite tracks of the year, Bazzi's smash, "Mine". To be completely transparent with you, we went through a bit of an emotional journey while creating this song. We at first fell in love with the direction we had chosen to take it down, including our older 80's/90's influences, but then upon nearing completion we felt a sudden change of heart. We wondered if we had strayed too far from the spark of the original that captivated millions of people around the world. That being said, we decided to stick to our vision and we are so happy we did. After spending a good amount of time apart from it and then circling back with fresh ears, we both feel that this is one of our best remixes to date. We hope you guys agree! Love you guys and thanks for continuing to inspire us everyday with your positivity ❤

If you told us a couple of years ago that two kids from North Vancouver would be performing at Coachella, hanging backstage with Kygo and discussing our remix for his next single...we would honestly laugh and tell you you’re dreaming. Fast forward about 9 billion sleepless nights, long days in the studio and here we are.  Another reminder that with sacrifice comes huge reward.

We met The Chainsmokers a few years back just before they blew up and took over the world. Whether it's playing our music on their radio show or having us open for them across the continent, these two disc jockeys have always been super supportive of our career and we can't thank them enough (they're much more than just disc jockeys, we just wanted to say "disc jockey" in a sentence).
