Sunrise From The Treetops is the remarkable debut of Hinkstep (Jonas Tegenfeldt), a talented musician and audio engineer born and raised in the northern part of Sweden. After discovering the “other side” of Infected Mushroom’s groundbreaking album Converting Vegetarians, Jonas was hooked on the manifold possibilities of downtempo psychedelia. His boundless experiments in the years that followed eventually gave rise to a refreshingly eclectic style further influenced by the likes of Porcupine Tree and Younger Brother. Now, having cultivated a bold creative vision, Hinkstep is ready to share the sublime experience of this unique album with the world. The Sea Waits (Requiem Jam) is the requiem of Atlantis — the calm after the cataclysm, where the ocean becomes both witness and healer. It captures the eternal rhythm that continues long after the machines have gone silent.

This piece drifts between the realms of chaos and meditation, fusing psychedelic improvisation, world rhythms, and ambient soundscapes. It’s the voice of the sea reclaiming creation — the reminder that even after destruction, life and spirit persist in the pulse of the deep.

In the mythos of AI Destroyed Atlantis, this is the final breath — where technology, pride, and power sink beneath the waves, and only reflection remains. The ocean hums its eternal song, whispering to the next dreamer:

“The sea waits… it always has.”

While our catalog is primarily AI Assisted, Pick’s Hideaway Players is actively creating songs designed for collaboration with real musicians and live talent.
Each composition begins through AI-assisted composition and arrangement, but our goal is to bring these songs to life through authentic performance and local artistry.
