Genio Producer se caracteriza por su esencia a la hora de mezclar y producir música electrónica (Deep House, Afro House, House y Melodic Techno)
* Genio es un Dj nacido en Caracas el 14 de Agosto de 1992, a la edad de 15 años inició su carrera como productor en su propio estudio en la rama de Hip Hop con varios artistas de renombre de la zona mientras investigaba también las raíces de la música electrónica. A los 19 años inició su carrera como DJ en discotecas ganándose el amor, la confianza y la aceptación del público con una esencia musical que se caracteriza por sonidos profundos y misteriosos que transmite una energía total con significado musical. Su primer lanzamiento en Beatport se titula "Ketamine" un EP que contiene 2 tracks realizados en sus principios.

Contra mareas, Genio, ha tenido la posibilidad de recorrer muchos lugares del mundo como: Tulum, Chile, Perú, Ciudad de México, Colombia, Argentina, Republica Dominicana y la mayoria del territorio venezolano mostrando su música y transmitiendo su gran energía a la hora de mezclar.

Genio comenzó produciendo música Urbana latina y luego migró hacia la música electrónica logrando conseguir temas reconocidos como: Sangre de Marciano, Estas Calles, Déjame, entre otros.
Próximamente va estrenar un sencillo junto Abril Love titulado “Viento y Agua”. Todas estas producciones se encuentran en todas las plataformas digitales como YouTube, Spotify, Beatport, y Apple Music.
Hoy en día Genio Producer es uno de los productores y DJs reconocidos en el país por su larga trayectoria en la industria de la musica electronica.
Genio cuenta con varios set reconocidos como, Sex appeal y su último lanzamiento de su set en la TECHRAZA.
Genio tuvo la dicha de ser uno de los productores de un tema muy reconocido en Venezuela en colaboración con Micro TDH, Brito, Louis y Klein, titulado “TÓXICA”.

Here is my live set from Envision 2019 in Costa Rica. This was one of the most powerful sets of my life. I played live so it is all loops and improvised instrumentation with my three musician friends that accompanied me on the journey: Darren Austin Hall on vocals, Marcelo Berges on guitar, and Chris Assaad on vocals. All three of these guys are great musicians in their own right so it was really fun to collaborate with them and weave this journey for a really beautiful group of people ready to receive these vibrations with a totally open heart and mind.

They say everything happens for a reason.
They say you don’t get the burn you want but the burn you need.
Metamorphoses starts when you realize that both are true.

My burn started this year with the most amazing gift, I got to play a night till dawn set at Robot Heart. Watching the sun rise while playing the music that I love and putting a smile on so many beautiful souls was the climax of the already insane summer. This set really pumped me up and it got followed by a 3 days in row party with everything that includes. 

However on Wednesday late afternoon what needed to happen, happened. After finishing a set I took my e-bike, went full speed on the playa and BOOM! Huge fall, head first, shoulder second and then my whole body (PS: E-bike, excesses and lack of sleep are a very bad combination). Of course, I stood up directly and partied again, but the day after was one of the biggest hangovers I have ever had.  I had to go to the hospital, couldn’t move or do anything, I was coming down, tired, depressed, in doubt and didn’t know what to do with myself. I ended up spending 48 hours at my camp, sober, hanging out with friends, sleeping and eating which is something that I actually haven’t done for a very long time. 

On Saturday morning when I started feeling better, I decided to go to Robot Heart for a quick listen.  I met the Robot Heart family who told me to come hang out on the bus for the Man Burn.  I stayed really quiet during the whole day and was at their camp at 7pm sharp.  At that moment, Benjamin Alexander comes to me and asks if I had my USB key with me (I did, don’t ask me why, I didn’t have any gigs planned but I took it anyway). He then tells me that the DJ who was supposed to play didn’t make it (it’s burning man, it happens to everybody) and if I was interested in playing the Man Burn.  He then explains to me that man burn at Robot Heart is not about making people dance or drawing attention, it’s about creating a cinematic soundtrack for it.  I of course said yes, not having any clue about what I was gonna play or even what a cinematic soundtrack to the burn was. 

Next thing I know, I’m behind the decks on the love bus, far from the chaos, with a perfect view on the man, I’m playing some downtempo, ambiant, deep, and mostly super emotional music, and then BOOM! Fireworks, looking around me everybody is hugging smiling and living the life the way it should be… few tears are shed… I played the man burn on the Robot Heart bus.

There was something I needed to learn here - life gives me exactly what I need to grow + evolve.
Believe in the power of the playa, believe in yourself.
Everything happens for a reason.
