"In 2006 a dear friend of ours & one of Barnet’s favourite sons, died of cancer in the USA where he had lived for many years. To pay our tribute to a much missed friend & to keep his memory alive, the family & a group of his nearest & dearest, decided to hold a special annual get-together for local friends & an extended family of fellow soul enthusiasts @ a venue close to his heart…"

"Celebrating a year of successful weekly edit campaigns, Parisian discophile Young Pulse legitimises his dealings with GAMM. This is the first of a series of collections and every track is a dancefloor-tweaked gem. Average White Band's "Work To Do" gets a slick groove extension, a very young Michael Jackson gets a cheeky arrangement polish and added beat muscle on "I Wanna Be Where You Are" and Minnie Ripperton's "Baby, This Love I Have" gets a complete strip-and-rebuild. If you copped the first volume then you'll know exactly what's on the menu; funk, soul and disco grooves and no messin' around! We head straight to the club on the A-side with "Enjoy & Relax", as Young Pulse reworks (or is that remixes?) Rhyze's soulful disco stomper to perfection. The re-EQed kick and bubbly bassline are as meaty as your local charcuterie, while the uplifting chord progression adds a subtle hint of fromage to get your tastebuds working overtime. Don't be put off though, I'm thinking more the mild flavour of Brie than the hefty pong of a Pont l’Eveque. In 1980, italian band CHANGE released on RFC Records a magic album including the song 'The Glow Of Love', starring vocalist extraordinaire Luther Vandross. A pure classic ! 
In 2001, Janet Jackson released 'All For You' using a sample of that track, which became a pop/rnb hit single... of course. 

Here is a special mash-up of the two songs. Starting with a meticulous edit of the original version, I added new drums, new patterns, new percs, and placed some of Janet's vocals along with Luther's voice. Then mixed & mastered, plus fully DJ friendly, this mash-up becomes a perfect "classic" tool to play.
