When I was 12 and I just started to write and record songs I used to torture my mum by making her sit through every second of them (sorry mum!) But she always said I reminded her of the singer of Prefab Sprout... So, I took myself to the library to find some cassettes of them and I absolutely fell in LOVE with this song of theirs (and loads of others of course) 
So anyway, thanks Mum for the great recommendation!
